Shared House is one continual laugh from start to finish.Our hero Ben Robson is a recently retired copper of the old school, and has just inherited a large Victorian terrace house and a small sum of cash. Ben's solicitor friend advises him to use the cash to convert the property into rental accommodation. Ben does so, little knowing what he is in for. His advertisements in the local evening paper soon bring results and the first of his five tenants arrive. But that's when his troubles begin.As well as the usual friction between tenants, Ben also has to deal with ladies' underwear snatchers and other perverts, vandals and drunks, not to mention vindictive next-door neighbours taking him through the magistrates' court.As his problems mount, Ben decides he would like to abandon the venture and sell up, but the current law relating to tenants in shared accommodation makes that almost impossible.Laughter is guaranteed as we follow Ben's attempts to thwart his tenants' bad behaviour and their base desires, and the way he finally resolves the problem of the shared house will have you in stitches.
